On Saturday, June 6th, associates from the Dallas Operations and Sales office enjoyed an afternoon at Topgolf. Topgolf is a premier golf entertainment complex where the competition of sport meets your favorite local hangout. You can challenge your friends and family to addictive point-scoring golf games that anyone from the hopeful pro golfer to your neighbor’s 7-year-old kid can play year-round. Picture a 240-yard outfield with dartboard-like targets in the ground. The closer to the center you get and the farther out you hit your microchipped balls, the more points you receive. The facility also catered the event and R2 employees dove into a spread of “State Fair” food options like Frito Pie Bars, Texas Chili, Southwestern Eggrolls and Mini Hot Dogs.
“I love the fact that R2 schedules these types of events for our offices,” said Marisa Vasquez, Transportation Sales. “It was really fun and allowed everyone to break out of their shell. Topgolf was a great way to get to know my coworkers on a more personal level.”
