Ben Gase
Ben Gase
Founder and CEO
Ben Gase is a graduate of Ferris State University where he earned a degree in Marketing and Sales. He founded R2 Logistics in 2007 with the goal of creating a 3PL that offers an unmatched customer service experience in the transportation industry. This means making the customer the number one priority on every shipment. As CEO, Ben has guided the company to grow organically without the use of any private equity. He is focused on bringing R2’s technology to the forefront of industry trends and has also established a work environment where employees can thrive and grow professionally.
John Pavlick
John Pavlick
Senior Vice President of Operations
John Pavlick is a graduate of Miami University where he majored in Marketing. He started with R2 Logistics in 2018 when he filled the role of Vice President. John began his logistics career in 2001 and has held positions in sales and management. Since that time, he has gained a broad industry knowledge base that includes LTL and Managed Transportation services. As Senior Vice President of Operations at R2 Logistics, John is responsible for building out the company’s Dallas Sales office, housing client and carrier responsibilities, and centralizing communication for all of R2’s branch network.

Senior Vice President of Sales
Brad Schneider is a graduate of University of Wisconsin – Oshkosh and earned a Master’s Degree from Marian University. He started with R2 Logistics in 2014 when he filled the role of Vice President. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Sales, Brad is responsible for new and incumbent customer development, account implementation and project management. Brad believes you need to put forth the extra effort to get to know your customers and carriers on more than just a transactional relationship to truly be successful. In his own words, “Working with customers to identify needs within their specific network and then delivering solutions that make their organizations successful is very rewarding.”
Hunter Schwind

Vice President of Account Development
Hunter Schwind is a graduate of Ohio University where he majored in Public Relations. He started with R2 Logistics in 2009 as a Pod Leader for the Columbus, Ohio operations office. In his current role of Vice President of Account Development, Hunter is responsible for creating and executing on the overall company vision as well as managing business agreements with current and prospective clients. Hunter’s goal for R2 is to continue to be the best customer service company in the industry. He believes that your reputation is everything. Every day he puts himself in the shoes of the customer and wants them to have the best, completely worry-free, experience.
Frank Dreischarf

Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions
Frank Dreischarf is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he dual majored in Operations Management as well as Transportation and Logistics. He started with R2 Logistics in 2017 when he filled the role of Vice President of Supply Chain Solutions. Frank has 20 plus years of distribution and supply chain knowledge, and has experience managing $200MM plus transportation spends. In his current role, Frank is responsible for developing and managing R2’s multi-modal and Supply Chain service offerings. Frank believes logistics is a relationship-based business and the foundation for any successful relationship is integrity and trust. In his own words, “that means doing what you say you will do, always seeking to find and add value, and to treat others as you want to be treated.”

Vice President of Carrier Sales
Matt Elsass attended The Ohio State University where he majored in Agriculture and Construction Management and minored in City and Regional Planning. He started with R2 Logistics in 2008 as the Branch Manager for the Columbus, Ohio operations office. In his current role of Vice President of Carrier Sales, Matt is responsible for Truckload pricing, market forecasting and carrier development. Matt’s goal for R2 is to compete at the highest level and never stop moving forward. He also wants to put people in the best spots to be successful by providing opportunities for employees who are self-motivated and strive for growth, both personally and professionally.

Vice President of Finance
Kees Hiatt is a graduate of Albion College where he majored in Economics and Management. He started with R2 Logistics in 2010 as a National Sales Representative for the Detroit, Michigan operations office. In his current role of Vice President of Finance, Kees is responsible for managing the company’s accounting and finance departments. Kees’s goal for R2 is to be the best freight broker in the industry. In his own words, “Our industry is all about relationships and executing our strategies for individual customers. We must put them first to demonstrate value and give us a competitive advantage. Without the customers, we do not have anything else.”
Katie Quinn
Katie Quinn
Vice President of Administration
Katie Quinn is a graduate of Florida State University where she majored in Psychology. She started her career with R2 Logistics in 2013 as a Carrier Sales Representative and later held positions in Sales and Recruiting. As VP of Administration, Katie is responsible for the oversight of the company’s Accounting, Credit, Risk, Human Resources and Recruiting Departments. Her focus is on hiring talented individuals who want to build their career with R2, strive to win and always provide top-tier customer service. Katie is passionate about working with the R2 employees across all the company’s business units. “Listening to individuals on all levels of our organization in order to recognize and capitalize on opportunities for improvement is what drives me every day.”

Ben Jordan is a graduate of the University of Toledo where he majored in English. He started with R2 Logistics in 2008 as a Transportation Sales Representative for the Detroit, Michigan operations office. In his current role of Vice President of Sales, Ben is responsible for developing current accounts and identifying operational value with prospective accounts. Ben believes R2 Logistics can achieve all targets when planned and executed to completion. He brings an optimistic attitude with him every day to do whatever it takes to make R2 Logistics grow.
