R2 Logistics, Inc., a third-party logistics provider, today announced their reception of The Scotts Truckload Business Partner Excellence Award for 2017. The Scotts Company, headquartered in Marysville, Ohio, manufactures branded consumer products for lawn and garden care, and provides products for professional horticulture.
Criteria for the award were based around the following areas of business partnership: Service, Cost, and Collaboration. “R2’s commitment to the details is a key differentiator,” said Bill Couchman, Director of Distribution. “Their awareness of cost and lane capacity, excellent load acceptance ratings and proactive communication are critical competencies for our seasonal business.”
This year’s recognition marks the 4th time R2 Logistics has won the Business Partner Excellence Award since 2012. “It is an honor to receive this award from Scotts Miracle-Gro,” said David Crowley, R2 Logistics Columbus Branch Manager. “The customer vendor collaboration and communication allows R2 to continue to offer customized solutions suited specifically to Scotts supply chain needs.”
