Jacksonville, FL – October 17, 2011

R2 Logistics, a third party logistics provider, has released its third quarter growth results of 2011. Figures gathered cover the company and its individual operating branches’ year over year percentage annual growth. Numbers shown are relative to four major categories – Revenue, Gross Profit, Operating Percentage and Total Number of Loads.

The company as a whole reports a total growth in Revenue of 51% which correlates to an increase in Gross Profit of 47%. R2’s Operating Percentage is the only statistic to not show a favorable increase as it is down 2%. The rise in Revenue and Gross Profit is the summation of the escalation in Total Number of Loads which is up 36%.

“The conscious effort of our sales team to not only find new business, but also build relationships with current customers can attribute to the growth we’ve experienced in the third quarter of 2011,” stated R2 Logistics CEO, Ben Gase. “We’re not doing anything different here. If we continue to make service our top priority the results will show.”

The growth results for R2 Logistics branches are as follows:
Columbus, Ohio
Revenue:  +55%
Gross Profit:  +62%
Operating Percentage: +4%
Loads:   +38%
Detroit, Michigan
Revenue:  +18%
Gross Profit:  +13%
Operating Percentage: -3%
Loads:   +9%
Jacksonville, Florida
Revenue:  +220%
Gross Profit:  +234%
Operating Percentage: +4%
Loads:   +177%

Looking on to quarter four of 2011, Gase doesn’t expect progression to slow down. “We’ve typically seen our best growth during the fourth quarter, and I don’t expect this to change. It’s bid season and we expect our fair pricing and superior customer service to prevail in gaining new business.”
